at the connection that was left from original package.
Remove the taps and reconnect.
-Check orifices for blockage, if blockage is apparent,
clear w/ a pin or needle. back top ^

My grill is getting hot
too fast
-Please be very careful when operating an outdoor
grill, they are designed to heat up very fast.
-Do not leave the grills on unattended.
-Do not preheat for more than 2 min at 350 degrees
or higher.
-After preheating, always turn the heat down to
low. back top ^

always light when I try to ignite them
- make sure the gas is ON
- make sure the igniter tip is sparkling
- make sure before you turn the knob all the way
to get a spark that you press down on the knob to
bleed out some gas (about 3 - 5 seconds)
- make sure the burner ports are clear of debris

The grill
only heats up to 200o - 300o
- make sure the temperature gauge is working properly
- check for leaks by spraying soapy water on all
connections
- if while checking for leaks you smell gas at all
turn OFF gas source,
please call customer service
- make sure you are not running natural (NG) on
a propane grill (LP)
back top ^
back top ^
LP vs. NG
The natural gas has been regulated & reduced
in pressure by the time it reaches your house
Liquid propane contains more carbon than natural
gas & can burn up to 3 times hotter. Natural
gas makes up for this difference in temperature
by having larger orifices to let a proper amount
of fuel through. Most of all grills hooked up to
natural gas burn considerably cooler...however usually
quite sufficient heat for grilling. Natural gas
is last longer & cleaner burns.

The flames
have too much yellow in them
- you may have to open up venturi valve to get more
air mixed in with the gas
- the burners might be dirty and need cleaning off
- the regulator may need replacing
- the burners themselves may need replacing
back top ^
The regulator
is getting frosted over
- the regulator most likely has a leak
- immediately turn OFF the gas source and call customer
service

I cannot convert the sear or side burner?
There is no valve adjustment since they both are a low pressure valve.
back top ^
Why doesn’t the grease tray pull out?
Check to see if the welds on the grease collector under the burners are still intact it may cause the grease collector to stop the grease tray from pulling out.
